The Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) is focused on providing a Guyanese workforce with requisite knowledge, skills and attitudes which will contribute to increased productivity and economic development.

Projects being supported by the Greater Guyana Initiative

The Greater Guyana Initiative is supporting the introduction of several programmes at the technical institutes including electrical installation and welding. The initiative is also supporting teachers of the technical institute through the Basic Industrial and Safety Training (BIST) programme.
